Congratulations Joel Ohene Frimpong

Joel Ohene Frimpong is a graduating MPhil student from the  Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department at KNUST.

His research interests are Biofuel production, Thermochemical Conversion, Renewable Energy, Biomass Conversion and Waste Management. 

He researched the Thermochemical Conversion of municipal solid waste to fuel for his MPhil project. He focused on the case study of the Ketu Municipality. He produced the biofuel through pyrolysis. His project can inform policy development for adopting waste-to-energy technologies in the country.

KEEP has contributed to his academic success by providing financial support and internship opportunities. He is very grateful for the guidance, mentorship, encouragement and training he received from the staff and management of KEEP.

As he enters a new season of life, he plans to pursue a PhD in Biosystems Engineering or Environmental Engineering. He hopes to continue advancing knowledge and innovation in his field.
