Congratulations Mark Korang Yeboah

Mark Korang Yeboah is a graduating MPhil Bioengineering student from the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Department at KNUST.

His research interest is to uncover promising insights and potential applications at the convergence of biotechnology and artificial intelligence.

Modelling of Consolidated Bioprocessing for bioethanol production: an encoded microbial consortium for machine learning was the focus of his MPhil research. He assessed comprehensive secondary data on the subject and generated statistically equivalent synthetic data using a Generative Adversarial Network, a machine learning model.

The KNUST Engineering Education Project (KEEP) has been instrumental in his academic success by fully funding his Postgraduate studies and providing internship opportunities with research support. He is very grateful to the staff and management of KEEP.

Currently, he has been offered admission to pursue his PhD in Chemical Engineering at KNUST under a scholarship from KEEP and affiliated with the Renewable Laboratory. He aims to contribute substantially to the knowledge and innovation in biochemical engineering for sustainable development.
