Gideon Opoku is a graduating MPhil Computer Engineering student from the Department of Computer Engineering, KNUST.
His research interests include but are not limited to Artificial intelligence and Optical Systems.
His research at the master's level focused on developing high-performing biosensors using photonic crystal fiber for industrial applications.
Being part of the KEEP project has improved his professional network, both local and international contacts, through paid internship programmes, seminars, and workshops.
As he progresses to the next phase of his academic career, he intends to pursue a Ph.D. at the Department of Computer Engineering, KNUST.
He hopes that his research contributes to solving the challenges facing Ghana and Africa.
