In a nostalgic moment that connected generations of engineering excellence, Dr. Kwaku Aning, a member of the KNUST Engineering Education Project (KEEP) Industrial Advisory Board, presented his original 1968 congregation book and a university examination paper to the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson.

The presentation was made during a courtesy call by the joint KEEP Industrial and International Scientific Advisory Boards on November 28, 2025. Dr. Aning discovered the well-preserved documents in his personal files, offering a tangible link to the university's rich heritage.

The Vice-Chancellor, along with the assembled board members, examined the historical items with great interest. Prof. Dickson commended Dr Aning for his meticulous preservation of this piece of KNUST's history, highlighting the profound importance of such a document.
“This is precisely why we keep records. This is our story, and we must not let it fade. It is essential to preserve such documentation of the past, not merely as a memory, but as a foundational pillar for our future,” the Vice-Chancellor stated, holding the documents.
In an era of rapid technological advancement, these historical roots provide the stability, context, and identity from which true, sustainable growth springs.
