Benedicta Doku is a graduating MPhil student from the Telecommunication Engineering Department at KNUST.
Her research interests include wireless communication, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
For her MPhil thesis, she developed an algorithm using machine learning to identify soft failures, specifically, filter tightening, the centre frequency shift of filters and non-linearity in fibre likely to occur in a short-reach communication network with a coherent receiver.
KEEP has been instrumental in her academic success by providing financial support and internship opportunities. She is very grateful for the mentorship, encouragement and training she received from the staff and management of KEEP.
As she enters a new season of life, she plans to pursue a PhD in the intelligent wireless communication sector as she believes the future is wireless intelligent technology. She hopes to continue advancing knowledge and innovation in this field.
