Congratulations Anthony Kwasi Martey

Anthony Kwasi Martey is a graduating MPhil student from the Materials Engineering Department at KNUST.

His research interests are polymer engineering, renewable energy, mechanics of materials and computational materials.

He researched the investigation of natural binders for supercapacitor electrodes. His work provided a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to the toxic and expensive conventional binders while maintaining mechanical integrity without compromising electrochemical performance.

The KNUST Engineering Education Project (KEEP) has been instrumental in his academic success by providing financial support. He is very grateful for the support and encouragement received from the staff and management of KEEP.

Looking ahead, Anthony plans to continue his academic journey by pursuing a PhD in materials for energy, functional polymers, and materials for aerospace applications.
