Ebenezer Martey is a graduating MPhil student from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KNUST, specialising in the optimal design and manufacturing of sustainable mechanical systems, additive manufacturing, CAD/CAM, topology optimisation, and product development.
His final year research focused on designing and fabricating a robotic rigid hand exoskeleton device for stroke rehabilitation in low-resource settings. His research aimed to provide effective support for post-stroke patients in regaining hand motor function and enhancing their quality of life.
Ebenezer expresses profound gratitude to the KNUST Engineering Education Project (KEEP) for its pivotal role in his academic journey. KEEP's financial support and opportunities were instrumental in ensuring his success throughout this phase of his academic career.
Looking ahead, Ebenezer is committed to advancing his research in design and manufacturing to contribute sustainable solutions that address critical challenges in Ghana and beyond.
