Congratulations Olivia Hien

Olivia Hien is a graduating MPhil Renewable Energy Technologies student from the Mechanical Department at KNUST.

Her research interests include solar PV technology applications and any renewable energy-based innovations.

For her MPhil thesis, she assessed the adoption potentials of agrivoltaic technology in Ghana's Northern and Upper East regions. 

She hopes to continue advancing knowledge and innovation in agrivoltaic technology in the drylands of West Africa.

KEEP has been instrumental in her academic success by providing financial support and internship opportunities. She is very grateful for the mentorship, encouragement and training she received from the staff and management of KEEP.

As she enters a new season of life, she plans to pursue a PhD in sustainable energy and to become a great energy engineer who will help improve the energy transition trend in Africa. She hopes to continue advancing knowledge and innovation in the energy field.
