KEEP ORGANIZES RESEARCH TRAINING FOR THE KEEP SCHOLARS

KEEP Management as a measure to equip their postgraduate students’ with in depth knowledge on how to conduct a good research using research tools organized a day training for them on Friday 1st of November, 2019. The training was facilitated by Mr. Richard Bruce Lamptey, the College of Science Librarian. The Students were taken through the following;

1.      Sites for journals to which KNUST is partnering with

2.      Sites for accessing very recent Textbooks and lecture notes

3.      Use of tools like Mendeley, Endnote and Jab-ref for reference library

4.      Links to Sites of International Libraries in affiliation with KNUST

5.      How to create accounts and download journals

6.      How to edit wrongly formatted references

7.      How to identify the difference between citations from difference intellectual bodies

8.      Use of TURNITIN application

9.      Plagiarism and other standards.
