Mr Kwadwo Nyantakyi Marfo is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he read both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Sociology and Economics respectively. He had his National Service with the Forestry Research Institute of Ghana under the Council for Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). He started his working career with J.O. Microfinance Limited as an Operations Officer. He was in charge of the fixed deposit portfolio and made sure that the database was updated at all times. He then moved to Mid-County Microfinance Limited as a Credit Officer.

In this capacity, he conducted effective appraisals on clients who had expressed interest in taking credit facilities. He was also Secretary to Management thereby serving as a liaison between the company, shareholders, Bank of Ghana and the Credit Referencing Bureaus
